History
Roman Catholic Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen was born in El Paso in 1895. He became a one of the most well-known spokesmen in the Roman Catholic Church. He was also well-known for his many writings and his popular weekly prime-time network television program, Life is Worth Living, in the 1950s. A historical marker is located at his birthplace, at 25 West Front Street.
